●动力系统采用东方红4110增压发动机，储备扭矩大，动力强劲，皮实耐造；故障率低，维修简单，适应井下高温、潮湿等恶劣工况。
●传动系统采用山推液力变矩器+动力换挡变速箱，前进四档，后退二档，变速范围大，并匹配大速比矿山机械轮边减速桥，实现低速大扭矩，使一档铲装更有力，铲斗易于装满，作业效率高。
●行走系统采用液力变矩器、动力换档变速箱，提高了可靠性。
●工作系统采用先导操控，使工作操作更加简单，工作效率更高。
●电气系统经过防水防潮设计，适应井下潮湿工况。
●发动机进气系统采用油浴式空气滤清器，取代普通的纸质空气过滤器（纸质滤芯会因进气潮湿而变形堵塞，失去过滤效果），无需更换滤芯。
●尾气净化系统采用水过滤装置+氧化催化器，实现双级过滤，尾气以水雾的型式排出并快速沉降到地面，大大降低空气污染，保护巷道环境及驾驶员身心健康。
●行车制动为多盘湿式制动，驻车制动为弹簧制动、液压释放，使制动安全可靠。
●整车机架钢板加厚，整车钢性增强，铲斗铲刃采用高强度合金钢制造，耐磨抗剪切， V型结构，减小了铲取阻力，使用寿命更长。
●采用耐磨防穿刺光面橡胶轮胎，使用寿命长。
●爬坡能力强，满载最大爬坡16°，在卷扬机辅助下，可用于25°以内斜坡道打掘进，替代扒渣机。
●该机后车架可拆成5部分，便于下井。
●该机结构紧凑，操作方便，可进行铲、装、运、卸一体作业，工作效率高，适合回采出矿和巷道掘进出碴，以及工作场地和道路的修筑平整、材料运输等辅助作业。
